Leah and Jason’s wedding was something I had been looking forward to forever. These two are seriously the most sincere and kindest people I have ever met, which made creating for them so easy. It’s impossible not to feel good around them! We shot their engagement session on one of the coldest days this past winter (-32 with windchill!) But they were so into each other and so positive, I felt like they hardly noticed! It was only natural that the next time I would have these two in front of my lens would be +32 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! Since their engagement session I found out that a sweet little surprise would be joining us! Little Aura came just in time to witness her parents get married and it was so perfect. After an incredible wedding we snuck away days later to Lover’s Beach to shoot a ‘Love the Dress’ session. Rather than spending a large portion of time on their wedding day to do portraits in the hot sun, they chose to shorten this, spend more time with family and friends and shoot a majority of their portraits on a separate day. This also allowed them to go into their portrait session on a different day feeling fresh and of course getting to choose the time of day for the best lighting- golden hour. We shot this romantic sunset beach session in under 30 minutes because the tide got too high (we had to travel to the beach by boat) but I love what we created. Congratulations Leah and Jason, I loved getting to photograph you again and I’m so thankful for your friendship!
