A thank you from Chizuru after their intimate vow renewal in Portland…
I lost my father earlier this month after he had been dealing with a number of different medical issues. I have actually been going back and forth between Canada (both Toronto and Vancouver) and Japan since October of last year since my Dad started getting sick, and then when he passed away earlier this month, both Jared and I went back to Japan for the funeral and to support my Mom and sister. We actually just came back to Vancouver from Japan this past Friday, so as you can imagine, it has been a whirlwind couple of weeks for us, (and a couple of months for me) and as a result, we didn’t get a chance to make some of the final preparations that we wanted to.
Despite Jared and I being married for over 7 years now, we have never had the proper opportunity to take beautiful wedding photos like this, so this has been something we have been planning to do for a long time now, and we have been waiting for this moment for so long. So we apologize for not being more prepared for our special day, but I wanted to just share what recently happened with you so you can hopefully understand why we may have seemed a bit scattered. I wanted you to know that this day was a very special day for us, and was more than just a simple photo shoot, from the bottom of my heart...thank you.
Even with my dad passing away and having that sadness on my mind, from the very beginning you and your team were all so friendly and easy to talk to. We both felt very relaxed and happy, and we absolutely love love looooved spending time with you amazing and talented people! You are all individually amazing it’s true, but you are all even more amazing and awesome together! So we want to thank you again for everything.
Grateful Chizuru & Jared chose my team and I to be apart of something so special.
